Carlos Ghosn has said he would give up his role as CEO of Nissan Motor. Mr. Ghosn: First, I’m taking a new role at Mitsubishi, which is taking some time. I’m already chairman and CEO of Renault, chairman and CEO of Nissan, becoming chairman of Mitsubishi, plus the role to play as chairman and CEO of the alliance. I have a strong team, and have a person I totally trust to carry the performance of the company [ Hiroto Saikawa, who was named Nissan CEO]. We know we are moving toward more electric cars, more autonomous cars, more connected cars, more shared services, etc.
