As if the potential Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight wasn't odd enough, we learned on Wednesday that boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. wants to face Anderson Silva in the co-main event. The 48-year-old Jones tweeted this on Wednesday:Roy Jones vs Anderson Silva and Mayweather vs McGregor double headline card UFC invasion. Anyone who doubts the commercial appeal of a Mayweather vs. McGregor bout is fooling themselves. Jones' desire to face Silva is nothing new. Unfortunately, Silva would face the same hurdles that McGregor does in his quest to participate in an MMA fighter vs. boxer bout.
