Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday triggered a row after he raised three questions on Pulwama terror attack that claimed lives of 40 CRPF personnel exactly a year ago. As India mourned the loss of 40 jawans on the first anniversary of the attack on Friday, an NIA official revealed that its probe has reached a dead end after five persons, who were either conspirators or executors of the ghastly attack, were eliminated by security forces in various encounters during last one year. The case threw unique challenges for the NIA as there is no solid information about the perpetrators or the mastermind behind the attack. The first challenge was to establish the owner of the car used by suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar. The official said that during the investigation, the NIA stumbled upon another case of overground workers of Jaish-e-Mohammed which was subsequently busted.
