The deceased identified as Ahmed Hossain, 55 was from Ghorai village of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet. Abdul Jalil said Ahmed suffering from heart complications died at MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital on Sunday. " "As he died showing coronavirus symptoms, health authorities collected samples from the deceased and ran a test for coronavirus." Ahmed Hossain, who was a Khadem (caretaker) of a mosque in Ghorai village of Kanaighat upazila, was in jail since April over a murder case, he added.
