Domestically, remember Narendra Modi came to power in 2014 on the back of a grand promise of vikas. In gathering these funds and then deploying them to devastating effect lies Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s greatest achievement. The repeated images of Narendra Modi will not fill a hungry farmer’s stomach; the constant propaganda and fear-mongering on his smartphone will not convince a young man that he’s employed when he is actually jobless.
