KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 18): Prestariang Bhd has received the government's nod to implement a government-led border transformation programme at an estimated cost of RM3.54 billion. The concession is for a period of 15 years and will consist of three years of build and deployment phase and 12 years of maintenance and technical operation phase," it said. "SKIN is a comprehensive and integrated technology platform to modernise the core applications and infrastructure of the national immigration system with the objective to enhance the national border security," explained Prestariang. When fully commissioned, SKIN will replace the current national immigration system. According to Prestariang, its proposal was approved after a comprehensive technical and commercial evaluation, and thorough due diligence process.
