Neil Gray is coming under increased pressure after a former parliamentary standards watchdog said he should be sacked to help mend public trust in politics. Mr Gray, whose remit includes sport, apologised in Holyrood this week after it emerged he had been chauffeured to four matches involving Aberdeen FC. John Swinney has faced calls to order a probe into Mr Gray's use of the vehicles, although the First Minister considers the matter closed. It has since emerged Mr Gray did not declare hospitality at Hampden to watch the Dons after senior clubs lobbied him to scrap the alcohol ban in stadiums. Instead of declaring the freebies, Mr Gray registered the trips as ministerial discussions with the Scottish Football Association (SFA).
