The Ghanian-born star rose to stardom playing for DC United but struggled away from US soil. Over two decades on from the madness, his love for the game has returned – even if it didn’t always love him back. It wasn’t until being around them that I started to have that love back again. Right now, I love coaching the younger players as I am really able to help them, and they’re much more receptive and can really get through to them. To see them develop as players, and see them play for their teams and performing better, it’s a great feeling for me.
