As an extended exercise in foresight, I’ve sat down to look at each of the top six’s remaining Premier League games. In the title race, I can see both City and Liverpool winning all their remaining eight games. On paper, Liverpool could also take maximum points on the run-in - although their home games include visits from Tottenham and Chelsea. I’ve heard suggestions Liverpool would have been better off getting knocked out by Bayern so they could focus on the title. But now Spurs have drawn City in the Champions League, they are going to have a huge say on whether Guardiola wins the Quadruple this season.
