SHAH ALAM: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd hopes to add a new Saudi Arabian project into its international projects portfolio by the middle of 2018. Its president and group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azmi Abdul Aziz, however, said the group is in the early days of discussions with the Saudi Arabian government. “We are hopeful that we will be able to announce something substantial from our discussions with the Saudi government, at least by the middle of next year,” he said. Prasarana had in 2015 clinched the SR800 million (RM911 million) contract for the management and operations of the MMMSL train. This surpassed the target set by the Saudi Arabian Public Transport Authority.
