OPINION: The Popstars contestants were sent out onto the streets of Auckland today to busk their hearts out – and one contestant had the unexpected support of an energetic young star. SUPPLIED/TVNZ JP had the crowd dancing along with him – but it still wasn't enough to win the challenge. The golden card was awarded to Le Art for their performances in the busking challenge, and while I hand-on-heart agree that Le Art are astounding contestants and deserving winners, I don’t think this was a very fair challenge. As I said before, I think Britomart was a poor location choice, but also, busking is harder than ever in 2021.
