PETALING JAYA: A police report has been lodged against senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah and Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim. In the report, he also claimed that he was forced to engage Muhammad Shafee as his lawyer by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. When contacted, Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Shaharuddin Abdullah confirmed that the police report was lodged and the case has been referred to the Sentul police headquarters. Santamil, who is also acting for the estate of Balasubramaniam and their three children, filed the suit on July 13, 2017. Besides Deepak, other defendants named in the suit included Najib and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
