Mumbai Police on Monday siezed a huge cache of explosives from a scrap yard in Mumbra and arrested three people in this regard. The scrap yard is located in Mumbra-Kausa area of Thane district. In the joint raid of Thane police, Railway Police and Anti Terrorists Squad (ATS); 10 kg of ammonium nitrate and nine detonator sticks were taken out from a junked SUV at the scrap yard. In a Press Conference held in the Thane Police Station, Satya Narayan, Additional CP, Thane, said that three people have been arrested for planting these explosives. The police have although denied that this is a case of terror activity"Prima facie it does not seem to be a case of terror.
