Police are investigating after a person was found dead near Queenstown. Police are investigating a sudden death near Queenstown. A spokeswoman said police were alerted to the death at Wilson Bay, about 7 kilometres west of Queenstown, on the Glenorchy-Queenstown Rd, about 4.50pm on Monday. The NZ Herald reported the body was found in the car park at a popular reserve on the Lake Wakatipu lakefront. No further information was available.
