Trio in court on raft of charges after Mongrel Mob leader's son shot


Photo: FacebookThree people have been jointly charged in relation to a gang shooting in North Canterbury where the son of a prominent Mongrel Mob member was seriously injured. Fairmont Joseph Wiringi is in Christchurch Hospital after being shot about 3.30am yesterday. Wiringi's father Joseph is a Mongrel Mob president and his brother Fairlane is also a patched member of the gang. The man was taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance in a serious condition. The shooting comes just days after Christchurch man Kane Wayman - an associate of the Head Hunters gang - was killed.
