A civilian member of staff at police headquarters in Wan Chai has tested preliminary positive for Covid-19, the police said. Authorities said she had no travel history over the past 14 days and her work did not involve any contact with the public. She had worn a mask, when last at work on Tuesday. The staff member had taken the test on Wednesday, after feeling unwell and that the preliminary results had been released on Thursday. Officers that might have come into close contact with the civilian staff member have also been arranged to quarantine for observation and undergo tests.
