HK confirms 30 untraceable Covid infections among 53 cases


Hong Kong reports 53 new Covid patients today, of which 30 of them have their source of infection unknown. There were also around 50 preliminary positive cases today. Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan, head of the Centre for Health Protection's Communicable Disease Branch, said of the fresh local cases today, 31 were linked to previous local infections and 30 with untraceable sources. Chuang said a mandatory testing order has been issued to residents who live in Fu Yan House, Fu Shan Estate in Wong Tai Sin, after a new Covid case has been found. A total of four units from Fu Yan House have seen individuals infected so far.
