NewsPolice have closed off the main bridge linking Biyagama and Kaduwela to vehicular traffic at Nawagamuwa. Police said the bridge, situated along the Kaduwela-Colombo main road, is in serious danger of sinking due to soil erosion underneath the bridge caused by adverse weather. Police are advising motorists and members of the public to use alternate routes to minimise inconvenience.
