Fire and police attended an Irving St house in Gore after smoke was seen coming out of a window. The Hazmat Unit has been dispatched from Invercargill to attend an incident in Gore on Friday night, with police now taking charge. The Fire and Emergency Service's Hazmat Unit is in place to deal with hazardous substances and was required to attend an Irving St house. A Fire and Emergency spokesperson referred questions to the police when asked about the incident.
