OPINION: I used to think life lessons were things you learnt to help you in life. But I'm discovering that sometimes they're also lessons that take most of a lifetime to learn. But sometimes it can be a little frustrating when the lessons take so long to bed in. Christmas really isn't all it's cracked up to be. When really, more than anything, this time of year should be about our shared humanity.
