Plurality of parties hasn't been a panacea to the country's governance problems. The number of parties has grown in tandem with coalitions. These have come with their own set of ills, which have been repeatedly and widely reported, writes Mcebisi Ndletyana. This truism came to mind as I counted the number of registered political parties in South Africa. This has meant a plurality of choices for voters to choose from, which is what some in the country have been longing for.
