(Photo: Pheu Thai Party)Pheu Thai Party leader Julapun Amornvivat has called on party MPs to remain united and set their sights on returning 150 members to the House in the next election, while dismissing speculation that members were jockeying for cabinet seats. Speaking on Tuesday at a capacity‑building seminar for MPs and party personnel, Mr Julapun said the gathering was aimed at strengthening teamwork and preparing lawmakers for parliamentary duties. Pheu Thai experienced a major setback in the Feb 8 election that was won decisively by the Bhumjaithai Party. Following the seminar, Mr Julapun described the session as a routine internal meeting held ahead of each parliamentary sitting. Former premier Paetongtarn Shinawatra, head of the Pheu Thai Family and daughter of party patriarch Thaksin Shinawatra, was also present.
