(Photo supplied/Anna Neatpisarnvanich)The People’s Party has filed requests for vote recounts in 10 constituencies in provinces across the country: Khon Kaen, Chon Buri, Lampang, Surat Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Samut Prakan, Tak, Saraburi, Maha Sarakham and Chai Nat. The People’s Party also praised residents of Chon Buri constituency 1 and other areas who had actively come forward to protect their votes. “The People’s Party reaffirms that we will continue to safeguard every single vote cast by the public,” it said. Disgruntled crowds surrounded the vehicle carrying the ballot boxes and demanded an explanation from election officials, calling for transparency in the vote-counting process.
