The food items include flattened rice, puffed rice, noodles, cake, biscuit, toast, milk and juice. Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director at PRAN-RFL group, said they initially distributed food among several thousand families in various points of Dhaka, Gazipur, Narsingdi, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Natore, Dinajpur and Rangpur at the beginning of this month. "The initiative was launched as many people are struggling to manage food for their family members during this shutdown," he said.
