Shariatpur, Rangpur and Naogaon districts were completely locked down, while parts of Bagerhat, Chittagong, Kurigram and Dinajpur came under lockdown. In Shariatpur, the whole district was locked down from 6pm, according to a circular signed by District Magistrate Kazi Abu Taher. In Rangpur district, lockdown would be in effect from 10pm, as stated by Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Md Asib Hasan. In Dinajpur, 97 homes in three villages were put under lockdown after three Dhaka returnees were confirmed coronavirus positive in Nawabganj upazila, said UNO Nazmun Nahar.
