Sisimpur has already successfully completed 11 seasons, and returned with season 12 on Bangladesh Television and Duronto TV in January. Sisimpur is the widely popular Bangladeshi version of the children's television series Sesame Street. In a survey from 2010, conducted by BBC World Service Trust, Sisimpur topped the list as the most watched children’s show in Bangladesh. Sesame Workshop Bangladesh (SWB), the country office of Sesame Workshop, produces Sisimpur with an aim to promote the cognitive, social, emotional and physical learning of children.
