Share:ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Wednesday rescued and saved 19 precious lives of fishermen and their boat. According to the Pakistan Navy, on December 29, 2021, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Pakistan, received a distress call from a fishing boat namely "Al-SAIF" (Reg No: 21519-B) stranded at sea due to machinery breakdown. The MRCC immediately directed the Fast Response Boat (FRB) towards the reported position (South of Karachi) along with requisite de-flooding pumps, towing arrangements, life-saving and first-aid equipment. The fishing boat crew members were given first-aid and food and was taken in tow by PMSA's Fast Response Boat (FRB) and safely brought to Karachi, said the press release.
