Tehran: Amid ongoing protests in Iran and concerns over possible US intervention, the Iranian parliament held an extraordinary session. The session discussed Iran’s response and national security in the event of a US attack. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer said that if the US attacks Iran, it will definitely be responded to and, if necessary, US bases in Israel and the region will also be targeted. He alleged that the US and Israel are behind the recent riots in Iran. On the other hand, according to Israeli media, Israel is on high alert in view of possible US intervention.
