Share:ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a special cabinet meeting on Thursday (today) which would give approval to the so-called mini- federal budget. The meeting was earlier scheduled for Wednesday but was postponed due to reservations by allies of the government on the presentation of the mini-budget. Official sources told The Nation that Prime Minister Imran Khan directed rescheduling of the meeting on Thursday so that allies could be taken into confidence. “A number of federal ministers in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday expressed strong reservation on the plan of the government to present a mini-budget in the parliament without taking them into confidence,” a source told the nation.
