Prime Minister’s Media Affairs Adviser and journalist Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury has said that the government is giving the media full freedom. He made the statement at a views exchange meeting with journalists at the Khulna Press Club on Friday night. “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for the development of the country,” he said. “She has ensured good governance and taken strict measures against corruption.”Also editor of the Daily Observer, Iqbal also said that the process of formulating the ninth wage board for journalists was at final stage.
