Over two million vehicles expected on PLUS highways as school holidays end

More than two million vehicles are expected to traverse highways managed by PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) as travellers return to the Klang Valley starting this Friday. — NSTP/HAZREEN MOHAMADKUALA LUMPUR: More than two million vehicles are expected to traverse highways managed by PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) as travellers return to the Klang Valley starting this Friday. PLUS senior general manager of operations Mohd Yusuf Abdul Aziz said the increase in traffic volume is expected to occur in stages rather than a sudden influx. "We anticipate that over two million vehicles will be entering the city from Friday through Sunday. "The volume is expected to peak due to a combination of holidaymakers returning from their vacations and those travelling back from their hometowns," he said yesterday.
