PETALING JAYA: The Jalur Gemilang will fly at the Winter Olympics in the figure skating event thanks to Julian Yee Zhi-Jie (pix) who will take part in the figure skating event in South Korea next year. Yee will be the second Malaysian to compete in the Olympics after Jeffrey Webb, 18, who had also qualified for the slalom competition. "The milestone has been achieved and Malaysia will for sure be at the 2018 Winter Olympics! Without you guys it would be impossible," he added in the caption of a picture taken at the Gangneung Olympic Park in South Korea. His free skate routine, where he was placed third, gave him the points needed (148.74) to place in the top seven to qualify for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
