PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim is attending PAS' pre-election rally in Terengganu after all, but only to show support for the Islamist party. The former Selangor mentri besar said he had accepted the invitation to attend the launching ceremony of the gathering, dubbed Fastaqim 2.0. But sources close to him said such speculation was untrue, despite his close relationship with PAS leaders. Khalid had previously said that he felt "indebted" to PAS whom he said was supportive of him when he was being ousted from the mentri besar position. The Fastaqim 2.0 rally was meant as a display of the party's strength before the general election.
