Ohio State defensive lineman Alex Williams announced he will transfer to Vanderbilt. “The Ohio State University has given me tools as a young man to grow, and I thank everyone who’s been (a part) of said journey,” he posted Wednesday on Instagram. “I’ve been here my entire life and grew up being in this position, but life has audibles. The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Williams was a three-star member of the Buckeyes’ 2018 recruiting class out of Pickerington, Ohio. Williams will likely have to sit out the 2020 season under NCAA transfer rules.
