High-level moot to review steps taken by India after Pulwam­a attack­On Pakistan’s request, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has summoned an emergency meeting of its Kashmir Contact Group to review actions taken by New Delhi in the aftermath of the February 14 Pulwama attack in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK), Kashmir Media Service reported. The meeting will be held at the OIC General Secretariat at 11 am on Tuesday. EU, Germany for de-escalation in Pak-India tensionsIn the past, the group has criticised India over human rights violations in the occupied territory. Other areas including Mandi town of Poonch are also observing shutdown, aiming to condemn acts of terrorism and brutality by the occupying forces. On threats of Indian aggression, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry commented that “the whole nation stands behind armed forces of the country”.
