Nurses' strike: Uhuru's deadline lapses

According to Kenya National Union of Nurses official Patrick Njogu, operations at Kerugoya Level Five hospital and other hospitals in the county are back to normal. But in other counties including Homa Bay, Kisii and Embu, the nurses are yet to resume work. Kenya National Union of Nurses (Knun) secretary-general Seth Panyako, addressing the media immediately after President Kenyatta’s speech, said the strike was still on and that nothing had changed. The nurses are want an agreement between the two levels of government entered into on November 2, 2017, for service and uniform allowances, honoured.
