The Ministry of Education (MoE) has responded to public concern by allowing Grade 9 students who sat the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) exams to revise their senior school choices. The KJSEA Grade 9 placement revision system will allow students to request changes to their senior schools between December 23-29, 2025. PS Bitok encouraged collaboration between parents, learners, and school officials, emphasizing that the Government is committed to a transparent, fair, and student-centered placement process. By revising placements, the Ministry hopes to increase student satisfaction and improve alignment with Kenya’s top secondary schools and career pathways.
