There will be no overnight MTR service today, as citizens celebrate the New Year under the Covid pandemic. Amid the pandemic, the Centre for Health Protection continues to urge the public to stay home and avoid public gatherings to reduce the chance of contacting infected persons. For public transportations arrangements, the MTR will be on normal operating hours and no overnight train service will be provided on New Year’s Eve. The tram services will also maintain normal service hours. As for bus services, bus stop arrangements and bus diversions for Citybus Services and New World First Bus Services will be implemented in Central.
