Law enforcement officers will be conducting joint operations for three consecutive days at popular foreign domestic helpers gathering places starting tomorrow, to ensure compliance with the social distancing measures. A Labour Department spokesman said relevant departments will take enforcement action against those who still refuse to abide by the regulations after repeated reminders. “We remind workers to strictly observe the measures and appeal to them to avoid gatherings, food sharing and other social activities,” the spokesman added. “We also encourage employers and workers to discuss rest day arrangements, so as to minimize the health risk of participating in social activities."
