A Social worker was fined HK$1,000 at the Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts today for holding a sign remembering the July 21 attack in the Yuen Long MTR Station in March this year. Hendrick Lui Chi-hang was said to have been holding a sign which wrote “Never forget July 21” inside the Yuen Long MTR station near G1 exit on March 21 this year. The magistrate said Lui’s action has not been approved by the MTR and Lui has indeed displayed something, therefore ordering him to pay a HK$1,000 fine. On July 21 last year, more than 100 white-clad men armed with sticks and batons stormed into Yuen Long MTR station near midnight and attacked anti-extradition bill protesters, passengers and bystanders.
