This is because the first ever airport court has been opened at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) enabling swift justice. The only difference with this will be that suspects will now be defending themselves in an airport court. The airport will serve both JKIA and the Wilson Airport and plans are that it will soon be made a 24-hour court soon as well as work on weekends. It has been a long process when dealing with international criminals when they arrested in Kenyan airports but this will no longer be an issue. It will strictly deal with petty issues in the airport and international crimes most importantly.
