Police shot and killed six suspected thugs in a botched robbery at a factory in Mlolongo area, Mombasa Road, on Wednesday. In Buruburu, a suspect thug was shot dead and a gun recovered from him in a botched robbery attempt. On April 21, a lone gunman wanted for harassing motorists along Uhuru Highway, Nairobi, was shot dead by police. Police said the man was part of a gang that has been harassing pedestrians in the area. The man was followed to Uhuru Park after snatching a mobile phone from a motorist near Parliament Buildings.
