The receivers of the Invercargill Brewery say the numerous tanks and brewing equipment currently sitting dormant will likely be sold and removed from Invercargill as no deal with any local investors has been struck. The branding and intellectual property of Invercargill Brewery was purchased by Bloody Good Brew Co Ltd, a subsidiary of The Fixer Limited. After an arrangement with Bloody Good Brew collapsed, liquidators were called and wheels were put in motion to find a buyer for Invercargill Brewery. Biggs said the brewery was broken into in April 2019 and relatively inexpensive but integral parts of the brewing tanks were removed.
