They can no longer buy a specific accessory for their console, the $90 standalone TV dock for the Switch. I have reached out to Nintendo to ask them directly why this has happened, though I haven’t heard back yet. The most popular theory among fans is that this is indicative of some sort of grand recall of the Switch’s dock, or at least an admission that the dock has some serious problems to the point where Nintendo is no longer comfortable selling it solo. Also, some fans say their Switch docks have been bent inward -- some slightly, some badly -- straight out of the box, thanks to the somewhat odd U-shaped design of the dock. However, I think it is too soon to assume that Nintendo is totally scrapping the dock or about to issue a recall or something that extreme.
