SHAH ALAM: Newly-elected Kuala Kubu Baharu state rep Pang Sock Tao was sworn in as a first-term assemblyman at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly today. Pang later said she was excited and honoured to be at the State Assembly. The second sitting of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly, which began today, is scheduled to end on July 18. Pang, who is married to Yap Bing Yew, 32, won the Kuala Kubu Baharu seat with a 3,869 majority on May 11 with a voter turnout of 61.51%. The seat fell vacant following the death of incumbent Lee Kee Hiong of DAP on March 21 from cancer.
