MIRI: A baby boy with its umbilical cord still attached was found abandoned in a rubbish heap behind a shopping complex here. Police arrested an Indonesian woman, believed to be the mother of the baby, at about 11pm Friday (March 30). They said the suspect, who is in her late 20s, works as a waitress and was renting a room here in the city. Members of the public found the baby at around 9pm and alerted the police. The baby has been taken to Miri Hospital.
