PETALING JAYA: Chinese lifestyle retailer Samanea by LESSOHOME and Jaya Grocer will be anchor tenants at Glomac Bhd ’s Glo Damansara Mall in Petaling Jaya. Jaya Grocer replaces Ben’s General Food Store which left a couple of months ago. The retailer has taken a lease of more than 165,000 square feet (sq ft), 44% of Glo’s total net lettable area of 375,000 sq ft, a Glomac release says. Supermarket chain Jaya Grocer plans to occupy about 23,000 sq ft for both the supermarket and its Bonjour Garden café. The store, enabled by LAZADA Malaysia, was conceptualized as a full online experience store that displays products ranging from furniture to electronics.
