Toha Mohammad, eldest son of Dr Samad, said they got to know from the authorities in New Zealand about his father’s death on Saturday, after they identified his body. According to various news reports of Bangladeshi origin, Dr Samad and his wife, Kishwara Sultana, were presumed to be victims of the terror attack. The New Zealand government said it will soon publish the list of all those who died in the terror attack. Considering everything, Dr Abdus Samad’s wife and two sons are facing tough times filled with uncertainty, said Rabeya Khatun, wife of Samad’s younger brother, Abdul Kader, from Dhaka.
