Our Tangail correspondent Abdullah Al Numan said two people were killed when a train hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the Rasulpur area of Sadar upazila in the afternoon. As the three wheeler was crossing the Rasulpur Rail crossing, a Dhaka bound train hit the vehicle, leaving its driver and Rekha dead on the spot. In Kushtia, a female college student was killed when a train hit her at Poradaho Railway Station in Mirpur upazila of the district in the afternoon, said our correspondent, Kudrat-e-Khoda Sabuj. Poradaho Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Md Solaiman Hossain Molla, said a Tungipara Express train hit Akashi, leaving her critically injured at the station as she was crossing around 3pm.
