I’m a fully vaccinated New Zealand citizen or resident but my double dosed partner isn’t. If you are a New Zealand resident, you will be able to skip MIQ if you’re fully vaccinated. You can only travel to New Zealand from a high-risk country if you’re a New Zealand citizen, residence-class visa holder or otherwise eligible to travel to New Zealand under current border settings. If you’re fully vaccinated, you won’t be able to travel to New Zealand and self-isolate upon arrival before April 30. Most travellers must produce a negative test to enter New Zealand, even if they’re fully vaccinated.
